355ml bottle, a single, thankfully. What, they only ship this stuff to we lucky Canucks?
This beer pours a slightly chill-hazed pale golden straw colour, with one finger of thin fizzy white head, which traipses away like the tawdry tease that it is. Wafting from even arm's length, is the aroma of lemon cough drops, melted, mixed with mineral water, and poured over Rice Krispies. Not horrible, but not beer either. The taste is silkscreen thin cereal grain, a few touches of fake lemon essence - part food product, part car freshener, and the crisp reassurance of...water. No hops, no real malt, no hope.
I got some sassy, frizzante-esque bubbles in the first few tentative swigs, but they trailed off pretty quickly after that. The body weight is barely above a well-lemoned glass of water, yet there's enough carbonation left somehow to fuck up the lowest common denominator smoothness one expects in these situations. It finishes with no great reveals - still with the cheap artificial lemon, still with the weak-ass grain.
Well, no (unintended) off-flavours, and little if any cloyingness, so thank dog for small miracles, I suppose. This is just a beer cooler, through and through. If I was parched as hell, then maybe I'd appreciate this a bit, but for entirely un-beer-related reasons.

Bottle: Poured a brought pale yellow color lager with a small bubbly head. Aroma of sweet lemon appears artificial but proves to be good at masking the adjunct notes. Taste is quite simply a mix between artificial lemon notes with some light adjunct. Boring and refreshing are the best things I have to say about this one. Also, I wonder what this says about Canadian beer drinkers that all ratings for this beer are from Canada.

Served in a Lagunitas mason jar.
At fifty cents for this bottle, the price was right enough for me to take the mini-plunge. This stuff pours a clear sallow topped by a finger of quickly-fading off-white foam. The nose comprises Country Time-style lemon enveloped by dry wheat and sweet corn. Artificiality reigns here in all ways. The taste brings in more of the same, though a general sense of plasticity pervades, making the already artificial seem even worse. The body is rather light, with a moderate carbonation, a watery feel, and a fairly dry finish. Overall, a decidedly sad little beer, but one that I can actually see people enjoying. I didn't enjoy it, but I've had many worse than this.
