Had a bad experience with this beer. It was cheap, I felt the need for a cure to losing a fight with the girlfriend so it was bottoms up nite with the buds and this stuff struck my eye at the beer outlet. All I can remember of this beer is that it has virtually no smell or taste and goes down like lightning with the wide mouth bottle and kicks like a detuned Harley. I woke up the next day with the worst beer hangover I ever had.....they put varnish in this stuff to give it bite?
This is definately animal house sudz. If I had access to this in college I would never have made the engineering society grad list.
6 years later friends of mine came to a Bar-B-Q with this stuff and when Kevin popped the screw cap I winced. I have no desire to either sample this again or relive my boozy campus years.

Pours a pale gold from the 24 ounce can, good amount of white head. Modest retention but a good amount of fine lace.
Aroma is all malts. I am sure they must use some corn but I couldn't smell any. Light amount of grassy hops.
Taste is malty goodness with just a hint of hop bitterness in the finish.
Mouthfeel is light to medium. Just the right amount of carbonation.
Overall an excellent brew for the style almost too good to be a malt liquor. Just think of this as a malt forward AAL.

Mickey's brewed by Miller Brewing Co. This brew pours out a nice amber color with a nice white head. This brew has some small lace on the side of the glass. Overall, this this not a bad brew for being a malt liquor. The beer goes down smooth , nothing bad about this brew. This brew is more like a American Lager than a Malt Liquor. This brew also has a different after taste- it reminds me of jalapeno pepper juice. I'm not saying that is a bad thing; that is what makes this brew different from the rest.
