I love Mickey's it's hands down my favorite malt liquor. I've had it from the plastic 40 oz. The grenades and poured into a pilsner, a jar, and wine glasses it is a great brew.

The look is the most unappealing part its darkish sraw.

Smell is skunky malt and a bit of hops with slight corn.

Taste is about the same. Very skunky after taste.

The feel is a a decent carbonation with the slightest water.

Overall I absolutely love this beer I would choose this over any macro or any malt any day.

One of the better malt liquors. It tastes like a really good adjunct lager. There's nothing to compare it to other than Private Stock and Colt 45 and it's been tee than those. I'll always enjoy a Mickey's!

When I drink cheap beer it's usually Miller High Life because they use champagne yeast in the brewing process and the fizziness enhances the flavor. I also prefer the corn flavor of Miller products to the rice flavor of Anheuser Busch.

Mickey's tastes almost the same as Miller High Life. It's a decent cheap beer. The green color of the bottles is unappetizing but that's the only negative thing I can say. There's no pucker up weird aftertaste or any other negative effects.

Can't tell you what it looks like as I have never poured this Malt Liquor into a glass ever in my life. Though I can tell you that it smells fine and taste better than most of the others in its class. Won't hurt your wallet and good enough.

Poured from the infamous 12 OZ big mouth bottle right into my pie hole. The appearance is a clear golden yellow with a small white head. The aroma is basic American Malt Liquor. The taste is a notch up on most malt liquors, I rate this in the same class as Colt 45 and Private Stock, I consider them uhhmm, err top shelf in the malt liquor world.

Poured from the giant 32 ounce plastic jug into a nonic pint glass. Good till July 11th 2016. Pulled from the back of the shelf booyah!

Deep clear brass body, quite shiny with minimal and slow rising carbonation. Bleach bright white solid three finger head, that settles to a big bowled puck and some nice thick coating lacing. Quite a decent looking beer.

Nice quite basic cereal grain and mild corn aroma. Some faint toast, no hop angle, but a mix of pasty sugar a bit as well. Really solid for what it is actually not boozy either. No skunking either from the plastic thin green bottle.

Palate manges no too many surprises, with the exception of tolerance. Clean first thick sip but without the big sugars or fussel alcohol burn. Corny like sweetness a bit, with some interesting sugar like aftertaste that lingers. Interesting aftertaste that seems to mix some adjunct sweetness and some decent grain quality in the mix, it just barely hints at toast.

Interesting animal in malt liquor vein, sort of in the right place between a step up from your regular adjunct lager, but not jumping into drying overly sweet or alcohol stink malt liquor excess.

The beer is clear and a straw color with a thin white fizzy head. You can see the carbonation bubbles rising. The beer has no scent. The beer taste like corn and has little to no hop flavor. You are unable to taste in alcohol. The beer coats the mouth and is easy to drink.

This beer is awesome. The first taste you get is just a typical light beer taste. However the after taste is really sweet. It's so good! Do not think this is bad beer because of the cheap price.

A 64 oz green jug of this liquor and you are in for solid hi-kinks. This is a solid drinking adjunct corny drink until it warms when it turns into straight piss. Let the lack of carbonation help you guzzle the back end of this Brew and start over from scratch.

Had this in a can, so it wasn't skunked. Not your typical malt liquor. Most drink it from bottles, which are a class of their own. Smell was cereal grains. Head quickly dissipated into patches. Steady stream of bubbles coming up the sides of the glass. For a ML this is the cream of the crop and that crop isn't all that great. Decent flavor. The typical "Miller taste" shines through subtly at the end.

I purchased a can of Mickey's for $1.99 USD in the Highland Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, CA/USA.

Look: Mickey's has light foam.
Smell: Mickey's has a vague smell of ammonia and rancid grain.
Taste: Mickey's has a flavour of chemicals with a bittersweet aftertaste.
Feel: Mickey's has decent amounts of carbonation.
Overall: People who enjoy the aroma of ammonia and the flavours of vague chemicals will enjoy Mickey's.

12 ounce bottle into lager glass, best before 12/14/2015. Pours fairly crystal clear bright golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger dense white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of corn, cracker, light honey, light herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with clean and balanced notes of pale malt and light earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of corn, cracker, light honey, light herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of corn, cracker, light honey, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Nice balance and solid robustness of pale malt and light earthy hop flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness after the finish as well. Very clean on lager flavors with minimal yeast ester notes present. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and slightly grainy/bready mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a good malt liquor style. All around good balance and solid robustness of pale malt and light earthy hop flavors; and very smooth, crisp, and clean to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

This beer is an old classic. Brings back memories of my poor college student past. This beer is clean and should be served ice cold. As for the beer snobs that have posted on this beer and complain of its high alcohol consider that most craft beers are well over 5.5%.

Bought a six of fat little bottles at Winter Haven ABC to take to Beard's 40th birthday party. Screw caps with a puzzle on each. Good malt liquor...tastes like good adjunct lager.

355 ml signature green plastic bottle. Consumed ice cold, predominantly from the bottle. This bottle was advertised at 5.5% ABV.

Appearance - what I did pour out showed a decent golden color with a tiny white head and foam.

Smell - aromatic in that the adjunct aromas are quite potent, some sweet malt, corn and rice grain. Some skunkiness.

Taste - for malt liquor it's not too bad, nothing too funky going on as it drinks pretty easily. The sweet malt and grain are a bit too much by the end of the bottle, but it's not inherently undrinkable.

Mouthfeel - smooth with moderate levels of carbonation and refreshing finish.

Overall - it's not really good beer, but as far as malt liquor go, it's pretty drinkable, especially in smaller serving sizes where an increase in temperature won't make it too unpleasant. Glad I tried one, but unlikely to repeat.

(40 oz "shatter proof" plastic bottle - poured enough into my Innis & Gunn goblet to fill it)

L: clear, sunny-yellow-gold liquid... what's scary is there's probably a tiny speck of dust in the bottom of the glass and the little trail of bubbles rising up off it is maintaining a fine, fluffy white head - really the head retention is just bizarre and wonderful... it laces like a champ, too! wow!

S: pure heaven... has similar phenolic quality to a tripel - I'm thinking Golden Monkey... banana, sugar cookie... this smells incredible!

T: up front, the taste follows the malt loveliness teasing in the aromas, however, it tosses off a smidge of generic (and possibly stale?) adjunct lager in the finish - this proves to be not a big deal as it slowly fades off into the back... faint peppery-spicy note in the aftertaste... the malt flavor is pretty mild and lightly grainy (cereal), lacking the dirty, syrupy depth I've found in others of its kind... still, it's light, dry and mindless to knock back - no real prominent booze element either

F: little bit of a sudsy tickle up front... quite a pillow-soft, fluffy flow carrying its medium-light body along

O: Mickey's gets high marks here... it deserves to be mentioned in the pantheon of fine malt liquor - easily a top 3 for me.... will be having this again and again

Had from a 24oz can purchased in Portland, OR

Pours a light golden color with a chunky, large bubble white head that is quick to dissipate, but leaves a decent lacing throughout.

Smell is surprisingly muted for a malt liquor. A little like someone burped in your face after eating a bowl of tortilla chips. Lots of corn aromas, a touch of bile, some chalky minerals, and some estery banana and tropical fruit notes.

Medium to medium-light bodied with plenty of apple, pear, and melon on the mid-palate. A touch papery and nondescript on the finish with a subtle note of overly sweet slightly-rotten musky cantaloupes.

Very drinkable for a malt liquor. i much prefer this to Busch or PBR. Skateboarders: 1, Hipsters: 0

Dull yellow in color with excellent clarity. Poured with a creamy white foam with medium low retention. Very light corn aroma. No malt or hop aromas. Light bodied with medium high, stinging carbonation. Corn cereal flavor followed by an assertive green apple flavor that lingered to the finish. No malt or hop flavors. What hop bitterness there may have been was cloaked by the green apple sourness. Despite the malt liquor classification the abv on this was lower than I thought it was. No solvent characters or harshness. This took me back to the days of the finger slicing pull tabs theg used to have. At least they kept the big mouth format. Finished crisp and dry. Fairly easy to quaff.

It's a cheap beer with that distinctive wide mouth green bottle. Helps you drink it faster 'cause it's not a beer that you would want to savor, but has a kick to it.

Green wide-mouth bottle...

...drank directly from the bottle. I poured another for the look: light yellow gold color with a fast fade sugary white head. A drop or few of lacing. Sadly beautiful.

Sweet smelling grainy malts, grassy. Obligatory skunk-e-ness. Delightful.

The taste follows the nose, minus the skunk. It's sweet, surely. Thankfully, it lacks mineral-it-is. Yummy.

It feels like a malt liquor should...feel, that is.

Better than the sum of its parts, as my numbers indicate.

Drank this a lot in high school as it was cheap, readily available, and 40 ounces was enough to get a nice buzz. Can't say much more than that about it except the flavor often made me want to puke.

Honestly speaking here, if I'm ever going to buy a 40 oz. again in my life, it will be Mickey's. If not just for the novelty of it, but its really a better tasting, easier drinking beer than anything else I've seen in a 40oz. bottle.

Okay...first of all it is criminal that the photo of Mickey's here is not the classic green bottle (brain grenades). Second, what the heck are you people expecting from this beer (I did call them brain grenades for Pete's sake).
I used to take these golfing with me. I would never consider drinking them for flavor. Ratings based on what it is, not compared to a $12 bomber IIPA.

Reminds me of Meyer Park in Houston. My friend's older bro used to buy us 40 oz of these and we'd harass every living thing that would cross our path after downing a couple. Good times lol
