355ml Stubby Bottle

Appearance – Clear yellow colour with a large size fizzy white coloured head. There is a below average amount of carbonation showing and there is some fair lacing. The head lasted for around 5 minutes before it was gone.

Smell - Grains, bread, corn, malts

Taste & Mouth - The beer has an average amount of carbonation. I can taste bread/dough mixed with lots of malts, metallic notes, and some corn. There is also a touch of citrus. It ends with a malty/corn aftertaste.

Overall – There is a lot of taste going on here, unfortunately that's not a good thing in this case. It's very malt heavy and comes across as harsh. I actually got the bottle from a few girls at at a Christmas party who were all drinking this. They said they liked the bottle and the riddles under the cap.

Picked up a forty of this, my usual budget savers, bud and yuengling, needed a rest. So here it is, poured into a pilsner glass, very pale with pee color tint. One minute one finger head, notable amt. of rising bubbles. Avg appearance for the style. Sweet smelling, malt and a hint of alcohol. Not much to say taste wise but at least it isn't unpleasing. Tastes like the first beer I sipped from my dad's can as a child. It's refreshing, and a little sharp. I'll probably make this a regular when I buy forties since it actually resembles what beer is supposed to taste like, as opposed to 90% of the bottled garbage juice in that same cooler.

Generally speaking, I will never ever touch something from a green bottle. This is the exception, because Mickey's is really (in my opinion) the best malt liquor ever... which still isn't *that* good.

A - 40oz green bottle poured into a pint mug. Pours a pale straw color that rises to about two fingers of average head, leaving some spotty lacing but no retention.

S - Smells like adjunct. Hardly any smell, but what I can pick up is corn. Blech.

T - Sweetness, corn, faint alcohol. I can't really find any flavors that are present in normal beer, like hops or malt or yeast or anything like that. Mostly grain filler crap. That being said, it's worlds better than other beers that have mostly filler, like Bud, Coors, Miller, etc.

M - Watery, tingly carbonation.

O - It's cheap for a reason.
