Should have known from the commercials that this was a miller product. Still a tick is a tick.

A - What head? Fizzes out to nothing and the color looks like crushed apple pee.
S - Smell agreed is skunky apple (is that even possible? Do they brew with moldy apples?) Regardless its not totally unpleasant but its not great.
T - Well it's not as bad or "evil" as most say. Frankly its somewhat refreshing with granny smith sour apple flavor, some cider, and some malt.
M - Not much beer body more of like a wine cooler.

Overall I kind of dig dig it but no repeat purchase. I can kind of appreciate what miller did making a less sour or dry apple cider based alcohol beverage. Still I prefer beer so I am wondering why this is even on a beer site.

My Girlfriend decided to bring this home one night wanting to give it a try. It tastes like an extremely sour beer from a rotting corpse. The taste of this "Apple Ale" is more like "Asshole smell". I do not recommend this "Apple Ale" to anyone.

Pours a deep golden color and it's clear as water. No head present despite my best efforts with a hard pour and carbonation is minimal.

This one smells of nothing but apples, not a problem if you like apples, but nothing else is present. Personally, I love apples, so naturally I find the aroma quite pleasant.

Sweet up front with a tart finish that is distinctly apple - surprise! It's very crisp and refreshing with the alcohol being nearly impossible to detect. Aftertaste is sweet and slightly malty and sticks around for awhile.

When taking a sip, there is no noticeable carbonation from this light-bodied beverage.

If you like apple then this is worth checking out. It's good. it's cheap. And it's incredibly refreshing on a hot summer day.

Clear very light golden color, no real head to speak of. Smells like apple cider and a skunks ass. Tastes really artificial with apple sweet tarts or apple antacid being primary with a stewed grain aftertaste. No hops to speak of, no real ale character, what character is there, remains a despicable apple tinged disaster. Slightly heftier than light bodied, spritsy carbobation. Cloying, artificial, yet insanely popular. Hard apple cider is fine, but this is a totally different concoction. Avoid.

Appearance: Crystal clear golden color and is topped with no head that is never there.
Smell: The aroma of this beer is all apple with no malt or hops smells at all.
Taste: The taste is all granny smith apples to me it is tart clean and crisp.
Mouthfeel: This is a smooth very light bodied beer that goes down easy if you can handle the apple flavor.

Everything about this apple seemed like a cider. It had an orangey amber and gold colour, and smelled like an apple cider. It was very carbonated, and yet again, tasted like a cider. Crisp finish, no lingering flavors or aftertaste. It wasn't that bad, but was not that remarkable either.

Would I buy this beer again? Probably not.

Enjoyed this bottled brew out a large snifter glass.

A: Pours a clear golden hue with a minimal white head that quickly dissipates.

S: Mild fruity aroma – mostly apple.

T: Similar to the smell there is a fruity apple aroma.

M: Light body and minimal carbonation.

O: Ok fruity drink.
