I have been going to Mound Deli and telling people about it for years as the location is very convenient in that it is off a major road (Mound and a mile west of Van Dyke). The Mound Deli always has a decent selection of English, German and Belgian beers along with Bells and other local and regional brewers. Mound Deli also has a hugh selection of wine and liquor. They seem to rotate some of their beers in and out at times, which is nice to break up the variety. The store is clean, large, has a variety of munchies and deli items to curb your hunger and the service is fine, although I never have a question.

a nice little establishment on mound road, easy to get to, especially since i wasnt driving. decent selection. didnt get any food, but it has a nice little deli section where you can get cold cuts and sandwiches and stuff like that. the service was very friendly. and the prices were average.
Two things though, i am visiting Michigan from Ct, and ive noticed a few things, stores out here generally have a greater selection of steins, big ornate ceramic ones, that is very cool. However out of the past 6-8 stores ive stopped at the past two days, NONE sell Bell's singles or let you break up sixers. i cant afford to by a 6pack of each and i really want to try them all, i guess im gonna have to go to a bar to try them. but then how can i bring some home. oh well enough bitching, Mound Deli is great, nice selection of Belgians and local stuff, plus some other micros to boot. worth a visit.

This is a really large sized store. They have more liquor and wine than beer.
The store seems to be in very good order. Nothing is dusty so the stock appears to be rotated.
The selection is decent but nothing out of the ordinary for the area. You can find plenty of beer from Bells, Founders, and Great Lakes. There are a couple selections from Goose Island as well. There are also the typical craft imports such as Negro Modela and Kolsch. They also have a good number of beers out of the cooler but I usually do not browse those.
The service was pretty good. I didn't have any questions for the clerk, but he was friendly enough. All in all this is a decent beer store. It doesn't have the best selection in the area but you're sure to find something good in here.
