Appearance: Wisby Sleepy Bulldog Summer Pale Ale pours a fulvous colour along with a latte- (ight-light-brown-to-white) toned crown. The crown in question tend to have a structure similair to that of a hefty pile of beluga caviar, in a matter of seconds this is diminished to be and as it dissolves the bubbles grow bigger with lacing aplenty. Continually, a medium high amount of small bubbles float towards the surface.

Smell: Some citric notes heavily interspersed with a mild tone of diacetyl. The hops are slightly floral and grass-like as well, but pretty much stay dormant until the very end where they appear in a moderate fashion.

Taste: Most of all a diacetyl with an acrid 'n' acid combo which occasionally takes on a lime-like and zesty role. Lingering bitterness, not all that strong but all the more persistent. The diacetyl tend to transform and lean towards the sweeter end of thing.

Mouthfeel: Way too thin viscosity, the medium-high carbonation however adds some well needed action in to the game.

Drinkability: Not all that bad, but all too weak to peak any real interest. Needs to be more "chunky" (yeah, I know, excellent definition) and "punchy". Power to the people? Eh, why bother, if there's anything that needs more power and energy it's this beer, for it is sleepy indeed...

The colour is brass, the liquid is clear. The high head sinks down to a thick uneven lid while leaving lots of lacing on the glass.

The smell is hoppy with a mild bitterness. Dried fruits, leather, hints of smoke and band aids. Rather unclean I think.

The taste is hoppy with citric notes (grape fruit, lemons, bitter oranges). Some notes of leather and bitter herbs. A light malty sweetness with a hint of cookies. Medium body. The aftertaste got clean bitter flavours, some candy sweetness and a touch of alcohol.

The carbonation is strong; the liquid is light.
A little too much odd off flavours, light body and a bit too sharp carbonation for me.

33 cl brown short-necked bottle with a green and yellow label. There's a pic of a bulldog.

A: Pours deep golden with a medium large, a bit uneven white head that sets pretty quickly leaving nice lacings.

S: Floral and bitter hops up front, citric and slight piney nose. Caramell malt.

T: Unbalanced. Nothing like the smell led me to belive. Sweet malt, floral hops but all flavours are faint.

M: Thin body and medium carbonation. Aftertaste stays for a little while.

D: A strange beer. It looked and smelled like a really nice APA but when it hit my lips i tought it was a lager or something. Watery and faint.

Rather dark yellow color, a slightly off-white head, that leaves lot's of lacing.

Very much american hops in the smell, grape, pine needles, a bit of green soap.

A small dark sugar sweetness, mostly acidity, lime and grape, the bitterness is grape peel and a alkaline metallic presence.

Medium carbonation, small bubbles, a bit coarse.

A bit unbalanced, the bitterness was not really pleasant.
