I first visited International Wine Center week before Christmas 2004. The place was very crowded and I did not get to talk to the Manager, who I understand is very informed re. beer as well as wine. The beer isle is well stocked with a good selection (as usual limited by distributors). Store is fun to visit on the way to Bass Pro Shops (who ower got started by selling baits out of his dad's Brown Derby liquor stores) If your pulling a boat the parking lot will be a challenge on a busy day.
My son and I were intrigued about the selection, but as of now they do not break up 6 packs which is a big deal for me since I am trying to explore as many beers as possible to improve my understanding of styles and benefit my homebrewing.
A very meager supply of homebrewing kits was available but your better to consider another supplier for homebrew - nearby Home Brewery at Ozark, Mo.
Interesting website totally dedicated to wine with no mention of beer.

If you LOVE beer, This is the place to be!! their staff is the most knowledgeable bunch of people around. Eric was willing to go above and beond to help me find the hardest to find IPA style of beer that i could get in my area! then he BLEW MY MIND when he took me to the warehouse to try Samuel Adams UTOPIAS!!! Love this store, and LOVE ERIC!!!

The layout was pretty open with the food near the front of the store and the coolers extending across the back. The singles and 750s are separated and located in the back right corner.
I didn't see any dusty bottles or beers past date. I looks like they rotate their stock.
The employees were attentive and at least three different ones offefed to help me find something. They also loaded my purchase onto the dolly and took it to the car for me.
The selection was better than any other store in the region, they had plenty of Lagunitas, Bells, and Founders that you don't usually see in other stores. They even had a case of Boulevard Lovechild, but at $20 a piece.
The prices were noticeably higher on some items like Stone 4packs. They were $12 when the same 4pack at Macadoodles was $8.
I was overall pleased and will probably start shopping there when I am in town.

Great organization, very open & non cluttered
Spent $260 on beer, but got a couple of tired/stale beers. Next time I will check those labels closely
Service was friendly & helpful
Fantastic selection, best I've seem in Missouri, to include most of the upper echelon stores in the KC area. Tons of beers I've never seen Evil Twin, Urban Chestnut & Perenial just to name a few. There were a few breweries I didn't see, but only a few (Nebraska & Cantillion come to mind)
There was a ton of gourmet food, looked good, but was there for the beer
Prices were not good, my piddly stores in SW Mizzou soundly kick their butt. They did give me a mixed case discount, for which I am grateful. I will be back their selection eclipses any store within 200 miles
