The Slurry Bomber Stout, brewed in the style of sweet stouts, has a distinct roasted-chocolate, creamy flavor, nicely accented with the mild aroma hop nose characteristic of premium hops. This stout is fairly dry, moderately bodied, and very dark.

Sampled at the brewery. My father grew up just a few blocks from where this brewery sits, and was really eager to visit it with me.

Appearance: Deep black – lots of creamy off-white head, with a small amount of lacing.

Aroma: Sweet, roasted malts, coffee, and a small hop bite.

Taste: Decent sweet stout. Starts off with a creamy sweetness, pulls in a good dose of coffee and bitter chocolate in the middle, and finishes with a citric hint of hops. Faint wet cardboard/coffee aftertaste.

Mouthfeel: Full-bodied, oily slick mouthfeel.

Drinkability: Definitely an easy-drinkin’ stout.

A good local brew, from a good local brewer. I introduced my father to the growler concept, and we took one home. It never made it past 7 pm...

A nice sight once poured into my pint glass. A classic appearance for the style

The smell is of roasted malts and lightyl of espresso beans. Very appealing.

The taste begins with a nice smooth sweetness and then the bitterness of the roasted malts kicks in.

Very light mouthfeel for a stout. I like enjoy this part of it.

Certainly one that I could drink much of. I don't think this 6 pack will last long.

this beer poured out a nice dark black/brown color with a bit of a tan head

the smell is mostly of coffee and chocoalte here with a fiant touch of molasses

the taste starts out with a nice roasty malt flavor that leads into a coffee tone and finishes with a dryness

this beer finished good with a med body and suprisingly rather dry. this is by far the best beer that this brewery has and it is a fine example of a stout.

Sampled a taster size glass at the brewery (along with the other 4 that were on tap). this was a good one, so had to make sure that I had a bottle in my mixed 6 pack to go. Pours out of the bottle dark and black. just the slightest trace of brown aroung the edges. Deep brown head of creamy thick foam. Lots of smells including coffee, roasted malts, toasted nuts and even some smoke. at first the taste is like burnt coffee, but it mellows out and the rich dark malts and sweetness come through. Creamy and full bodied, oiling coating of flavor gets left on the tongue. Very nice stout, definatley worth searching out again.

Pours a dark brown/black with thin light brown head. Looks like brown muddy water in bright light. Smells of coffee and roast malt. Tastes of coffee, mocha, roast/burnt malt. Medium/light to light body. Sour burnt malt on the palate. Not very impressive.

Poured from a 12oz bottle into a pint glass. Reviewed live.

A- Finger thick mocha head, minute-long retention. Dark black color, no clarity. Deep and dark looking brew.

S- Milk, chocolate, cherries. Toasty malts and a warm envelope of sweetness.

T- Definitely a milk stout. Very sweet, creamy flavor, like chocolate milk with some cherries tossed in. Maybe a tad thin in flavor, and the toasted malts are a mite biscuity. Still tasty.

M- Surprisingly thin. Creamy but watery.

O- Nice drinking beer. Smooth and smells wonderful. Taste could perk up.
