A steady pour yields a finger of off-white head. This rather quickly disappears, leaving me with a thin ring and dusting on top of a muted gold body. Lots of action going on here, as a horde of bubbles rushes to meet the top of the beer. Surprisingly, a thin sheet of lacing attempts to cling to the side of the glass, but never hold on for very long.
Smell is classic American Adjunct: corn, sweat and hard work. Grassy hops near the end.
Definitely corn and sweet corn in the taste. A little cracker taste with some grass. About par for the course on this style.
Light bodied. Heavily carbonated. Sweet and vaguely dry on the end. Decent for sipping, definitely chuggable.

My dad use to drink Schlitz when I was a kid. So I thought I would give it a try. Well I liked it . Good beer nice taste not watery not to hoppy. Just a good easy drinking beer. Can't get it just anywhere. But will pick some more up when I get a chance.
Great for out at the lake. Or sitting in the back yard with a roaring fire shooting the bull with friends.
