This is has more bitter than the Schlitz OML (blue bull) which is a bad thing for me. It's not as smooth and velvety as blue bull either. Reminds me of a cheaper version of Old Milwakee, which isn't a good thing. I'll probably finish this 6 pack but won't buy it again. If you have a choice, def go with the Schlitz OML Blue Bull

Sampling right now on 6/9/14. Bought a 6-pack last week for $5.89 at the Hy-Vee in Council Bluffs, Iowa...right next door. Bottle chilled down to 36 degrees F in my beer cooler and poured into a vintage 'Schlitz' glass. BA says it is 'retired' but guess they started making it again as the label says" Jos. Schiltz Brewing Company, Milwaukee, Wis."
Pours a golden yellow in color with just a thin white head. Some spotty lacing is seen when sipped. Good carbonation. The aroma is mostly of grains and malt. The taste is about the same with some corn 'sweetness'. Actually goes now easy and isn't that bad. No bitter or harsh aftertaste for this old time brew.
