Picked up a couple of six packs at the LCBO from the weekend spent on the Canadian shores of Lake Huron. Reviewed from home.
Poured into a tumbler, very pale straw/yellow, bright wight head. Fairly colorless, it could probably pass for untreated, carbonated well water.
Smells a little sweet, light malt notes with hints of corn. No hops at all, pretty tame on the nose. Tastes of corn, sugar and cereal grains; think liquefied sweet corn flakes. Again, no hop flavour or bitterness, just a hint of sweet corn. Not much to either the taste or smell, it's just sweet water. It doesn't taste skunky or bad, but there's just nothing to it.
Very light bodied beer, watery, effervescent... I suppose that this would be typical of the style, and since it's so inoffensive, you could drink quite a few of these in a sitting so, it scores high on the drinkability scale, and poorly everywhere else.

Randomly saw this one in the "aisle of lost beer" at the LCBO, picked up a single can.
Poured a very light golden into a pilsner glass. A very thin head (survived as a thin ring), remarkably a couple flecks of lacing. Visible, fizzy carbonation.
The smell is predictibly boring. Corn, light malts, sugar, tin.
The taste is all kinds of bland. A kind of soul-crushing blandness that, suffice to say, makes for a bland experience. Less interesting than the nose. The tinny, chemical taste becomes more potent as you work your way through it.
Mouthfeel is thin, watery, with spritzy carbonation.
This is one of the most boring beers I've ever had. Awful beer, at the very least, has flavour. This is just watered down beer substance. I can't ever see myself drinking this again.

Pale straw with a fizzy white head of short duration. No lacing. Lots of visible carbonation. Faint aromas of grain, corn, and a hint of something metallic. Mildly grain and sweet corn flavours, with a touch of metallic bitterness in the finish. I don't mind simple, but this is just bland. That metallic flavour becomes mildly unpleasant as it warms. Thin and watery with high carbonation. It doesn't compare favourably versus other budget macros like High Life or PBR. Yeah, it's drinkable, assuming I would buy it in the first place. But even amongst its own price point and stylistic brethren, there are other beers I would go to first.

Can: Poured a deep gold color lager with a small bubbly white head with limited retention. Aroma of adjunct is pretty heavy and kind of gross with a sweet aftertaste. Taste is really dominated by adjunct with some sweetness and no hops at all. Another boring and quite bland macros.

Piss yellow with a billowy white head. Crystal clear with barely any bubbles coming from the bottom. How do they get so much dissolved carbonation in this brew?
Pale malt flavor with super clean, neutral yeast. Some earthy hop aroma like a saaz or something.
Taste the same as the nose.
Not very highly carbonated, which I actually prefer.
Way better than a Budweiser. No acetaldehyde sour apple taste, no metallic carbonation taste and no harsh carbonation sting like the other macro lagers. Bland, but still more flavorful than man, many others.
P.S. Is anyone actually reviewing this beer per style? It's an American Light Lager!

Quick drinking thirst-quencher.
Too gassy for serving with anything other than hamburgs and hotdogs.
Best served medium-cold from the can. Tends to take on the taste of plastic cups.
Solid choice for serving to guests in large amounts.
Good for picnics, summer parties, beach days.
When you're stuck painting the house in the summer, this is the beer you want a few cans of waiting for you in the cooler.
Not stellar but solid for its purpose.
Vastly under appreciated by the new generation of beer afficionados.

I tried this beer on May 12, 2008 after purchasing fropm on of my local LCBO outlets. The beer poured a beautiful translucent gold colour with a huge frothy white head that dissipated within seconds. The aroma was of faint grainy malts and not much else. The mouthfeel was thin and watery and forgettable. The flavour had a hint of beer in it...just a hint. Even at $1.30 a can I expect more than this.

Pours a clear straw with a 2 finger head. Falls quickly to nothing though. Smells typical macro but with an extra layer of booziness and metal. Tastes typically macro-ish. Quite astringent, dry, and touch of hops in the finish. Gets boozier as it warms. Best to drink this as fast as possible and ice cold.
