12 oz can was poured into a tulip glass.
Appearance: This beer poured a two finger head that reduced to a puffy layer. It is a orange/amber with some clarity and vision of bubbles coming up through the glass. Sediment has settled to the bottom of the glass. Nice lacing on the glass as the beer was drank.
Smell: Grapefruit, tangerine, mango, passion fruit, toasted malts, caramel malts, and some grassy notes too.
Taste: Hope and malts are definitely there, but finish off fast and leave lingering bitterness. I like the profile, but wish the flavor could last a little longer.
Mouthfeel: A bit smooth, lingering bitterness, medium bodied, a little chewy, and medium carbonation.
Overall: Not sure I would categorized this as a red ale, but this is still a decent beer.
Serving type: can
