12oz can poured into a tulip glass
A- a hazy dark amber, heavy on the brown tones. A nice off white head that laces nicely.
S- Complex hops. Lemon and grapefruit, but also an eathy component. Tobacco, mint, and hemp. Some caramel malts are detectable as well as the signature Sixpoint yeast aroma.
T- A big smack of bitterness. Followed by some crackery/caramel malts. Hops follow the nose, but I could use more raw hop "flavor". Citrus rind bitterness lingers well after the sip.
M- Fair amount of carbonation. Pretty aggressive with the hop bite and dryness. Medium bodied.
T- I'd have it again. I'm a pretty big Sixpoint fan, and this is good, but doesn't quite live up to the better offerings of the brewry (Bengali and Diesel, I'm looking at you)
Serving type: can
