The CANQuest (TM) is all about getting warmer in the face of this pre-Winter cold front and so I am plowing through some CANned beers today.
From the CAN: "Some say the world will end in fire./Some say in ice./From what I've tasted of desire/I hold with those who favor fire." [- Robt. Frost's "Fire & Ice"]; "A Winter Warmer to warm your Globe, or a Global Warmer to warm your Winter? There's no denying the Beer Climate is changing."; "Extended refrigeration at retail magnifies beer's carbon footprint. Please enjoy as soon as possible."
I am simply enamored of these new Slimline CANs! They are stylish, they allow more shelf placement and for hatas, it does not look like I am drinking beer, but Red Bull or somesuch, instead. The Crack was anything but slim, emitting a loud noise and revealing yet another brimful CAN. An inverted Glug was easy to accomplish and I quickly had to back off, lest I have overflow. The three-plus fingers of dense, rocky, light-tan head with great retention looked like a freshly-served milkshake. Color was a slightly-hazy orangish-amber and the CAN specified SRM = 17. Cool! Once more, i had some great lacing forming as the head fell. Nose was full of piney hops and I could imagine myself in a snowy pine forest by closing my eyes. Warm? Ha! The 70 IBUs had a warming impact on my tongue, however. This was one hoppy Winter Warmer, I'll tell you! That said, I am NOT complaining. "I have partaken of a number of beers in the style which were too sweet for my refined taste," he said, shaking his golden locks. This was probably Papa Bear's Winter Warmer, right before he began his hibernation. I was thoroughly enjoying the hops' presence, even through the relatively dry finish that resulted. This was my third of these beers and I CAN imagine that I will Crack open a few more before the end of winter (which has not even begun at the time of this review).

Aroma is hops and some spice. Light Amber color, lasting white head. Loses points for being a little too hoppy for a winter beer. Also get pine, sourish resin, tar."

Poured into dimpled seidel.
Look: Thin, cream-colored head ring, and a bat-shape of lace. Burnt amber center, light orange at the edges.
Smell: Fruity hops (grapefruit comes to mind), malt.
Taste: Up front hop fruit, biscuit malt back. Sweet, with tropical bitterness.
Feel: Medium and dry.
A nice red with some great balance. A fruity, hoppy bomb of beer.

Poured from 12oz can into glass. Canning date of '20FEB2017'. Only described as an 'ALE' on the can.
Hazy, red amber body. Frothy white head settles to interrupted head, and moderate lacing.
Smell is tropical and piney hops, biscuit malt.
Spicy taste, mostly of piney hops, some tropical in the middle, strong malt underlying throughout. Sweetness at the end.
Coats the mouth, slightly bitter to smooth.
Touted to be a beer to "beat back raging storm clouds". A winter warmer of a different sort. It works.

From Bierkraft. At Elba Costa Ballena. In hotel's tubular glass. Nothing unpleasant, some caramel and neutralish bitterness, but without anything that makes it memorable.Very drinkable though.Abv well hidden

Ruby red with an unblemished tan froth. Smells of citrus, pear and herb. Grain up front with light fruits, faint grapefruit and grass following. Light to medium in body.
Pairs well with An Inconvenient Sequel.

The appearance is a hazy golden amber colored body with a slim one finger white foamy head that dies within about a minute; some adequate foamy lacing that tries to cling but ends up sliding into the body; the aroma mainly bitter, now is that hops or is that just plain bitterness for the most part, to me at least its just coming across as plain bitterness, not really getting much hops for the most part; I will say this, some caramel malts do come out as it warms; the taste is mainly bitter again, and those caramel malts do try to make a presence, but end up making a sly subtlety to help balance it just a tad; bitter dry aftertaste and finish; on the palate, well, its a sort of between the light to medium and it comes across super dry in the mouth and tongue; overall, hey, not a bad American Amber/Red Ale that wants to be an Imperial Red Ale.
