Once our eyes were opened to the potential of the hop cone, we couldn’t be stopped. With a laser focus, we magnified the hop factor, and pushed the boundaries of flavor, aroma, and perception itself to create HI-RES. It’s Mad Science.

This is probably too much for me in the abv dept, but pretty darn impressive to hide most any of the booze behind a wall of hops. This one's got some bite to it, glad I tried it and wish there were others from this brewer available locally.

"Best by 7/10/15"; drank 3/2/15 @ the Yarchives.
See-through orange appearance. HUGE off-white head; frothy lace.
Orange zest, pine, fresh water & a hint of booze heat in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Honey, pine needle & caramel flavors up front; orange citrus zest & faint booze heat on the finish.
Sweet & boozy but with enough caramel ballast for balance. Nice.

Wow. I can’t believe they crammed that much booze into this thing. Big IPA done right. Could have used a little more head but maybe you don’t get much of that in this style. No excessive sweetness or bitterness to counteract the alcohol, and no excessive alcohol taste. Bonus points for coming in cans. And not 16 ounce cans. I have no idea why some of the other big IPAs are showing up in the 16 ounce cans.
