On-tap at The Growler Bites & Brews, New York, NY

A: The beer is clear but very dark brownish red in color and has a slight amount of visible carbonation. It poured with short creamy beige head that left lots of lacy rings of bubbles down sides of glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of grape nut-like malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has subtle hints of sweetness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and somewhat creamy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is quite flavorful for a light beer and is very easy to drink. I really liked the creamy mouthfeel.

Very easy drinking toasted brown ale. Low abv for the taste. Enticing street vender roasted nuts on the nose, cafe au lait on the tongue.

On cask at the Old Toad in Rochester, NY.

Pours out a dark brown, almost black, with a thin half inch head, and a lot of lacing.

Smells like lightly roasted malts, with some nuttiness and chocolate.

Even though it seems like this cask might have been on for too long (barely any carbonation left), there is still a nice taste to this dark mild (it's not an American Black Ale as noted on this site). Slightly nutty and roasty, a little bit smoky, and a little bit chocolatey.

Slightly watery and light mouthfeel, with basically no carbonation left. A little bit creamy.

This was another pretty good beer from Sixpoint. Would like to try this on draft.
