Another fine beer from Sixpoint. This American IPA pours a beautiful golden-yellow with a decent head and light lacing. The aroma is very floral and citrusy. The malt sweetness hits you right away when drinking, very quickly followed by an amazing citrus-hops flavor that is bold yet not too much that it would make this beer unenjoyable. The finish is citrus peel. This beer is crisp, full of flavor and has a very clean end that leaves just the right amount of taste in your mouth. Can't wait to try the other offerings from the guys at Sixpoint !!

Best by date 5/8/15.

Pours light gold with one finger head that retains well. Good clarity.

Aroma is danky and earthy with mix of lemon and pineapple. A bit of orange. Opens the sinuses. Malts subdued greatly.

Taste is rush of lemony citrus hops mixed with orange tanginess. Almost a bit of honey-like sweetness as it goes down. grainy like malts are there and some bitterness rounds this hop forward brew.

Light to medium bodied. Medium carbonation. extremely drinkable. Smooth and a bit of dry in the finish.

I had a sixer of this before and now got a case. This highly drinkable beer is surpassing DPA as my go to. The taste has the profile I'm looking for paired with a light body and clean finish all within a mid range ABV. Awesome Sixpoint!

Poured from a new slimline 12 ounce can into a standard pint glass. I had this side by side with the older Bengali Tiger IPA.

A: A medium amber orange color with a nice one finger slightly off white head. Not much glass lacing to this one.

S: Loads of citrus on the nose mixed with some tropical fruit notes. Some resiny pine was also detected. Nice smelling beer, very "fresh" smelling.

T: Lots of citrus hops with grapefruit, tangerine and maybe some blood orange. I pick up some tropical flavors of pineapple and fruit cocktail, but they are way more subtle. The malt is heavy with some caramel sweetness and it hold the balance nicely against the hops. Finish turns back to the citrus with some deeper pine notes and some bitterness. Overall, a nice mix of flavors here.

M: Medium and filling mouthfeel with some pretty heavy malt to give great body. Some bitterness but not overwhelming and nice carbonation and no alcohol.

O: A fantastic IPA that I really enjoyed, more so than the older Bengali Tiger which I also liked. This is a quality IPA that readily available in our area and for that I am thankful.

As I said earlier, I had this side by side with the older version Bengali Tiger for comparison purposes. Initially when I tried this, I thought this version was a little danker, but after having them together I feel this version is more citrus heavy and more drinkable. A great brew that is a must try. Nice work Sixpoint.

Solid, 1 1/2 finger snow white head with good retention and long wide lines of lacing. Brew is an orange-amber color, hazily translucent.

Aroma is a nice balanced blend of citrus and floral hops, caramel malt and breaded grains, and a tiny dose of honey.

Flavor is a bit brighter and more flatly bitter than the aroma, but it represents it well nonetheless. Bright, clean, sharp hoppy bitterness, slightly earthy and green, with citrus peel. Drier, more biscuity malt representation. Big dose of floral and piney hops mingling with subdued caramel malt on the back-end.

Not super balanced; the malt is there, but it's clearly to showcase the hops. Really reminiscent of the hoppier APAs.

Very lively beer, bright and refreshing, with a noticeable sting, but which serves to cleanse the palate. Semi-dry finish, inviting you to take another sip.

Having had - and enjoyed - the predecessor, Bengali Tiger, I can say I definitely enjoy this beer, as well. It strikes me as a little less juicy, but more bitter overall

Light golden yellow that pours crisp with a light and frothy head.

Grapefruit, toasted nuts, orange zest, and resiny hops.

Orange and grapefruit, very bitter on the back end.

Mouthfeel is very light and mellow for an IPA, but finishes strong and bitter.

Overall not my favorite six point brew, but a damn tasty one.
