Sixpoint Bengali Tiger is juicy, sweet, and slippery.
It poured a beautiful bright orange, with very little head, but it left a glassfull of thin but pervasive lace. The bright color and lace were the highlights of this ale. The flavor was sweet and fruity, dominated by orange and tangerine, but with a slippery sweetness similar to the juice in a can of fruit cocktail. A nice pine and resin aftertaste asserted itself nicely as the ale warmed. Overall, the flavors were good, if a bit too sweet. The feel was non-existent and very weak for an IPA. It was slippery and smooth, sliding over the tongue, with no bitterness whatsoever and nothing else left behind. When it was gone, it was gone.

$ 1.99/12 oz can at Vintage Estates, Boardman, OH
Can BB 08May15 at 40 degrees into standard pint glass
Head small (2 cm), off white, frothy, slowly diminishing to a broken 2 - 4 mm layer
Lacing excellent – complete thick rings and stalactites of mostly small bubbles
Body medium yellow, hazy
Flavor begins with a fairly light piney hop presence which fades to a somewhat chalky bitterness with a short hang time. No malt, no alcohol, no diacetyl.
Palate medium, slightly oily, lively carbonation
Another pretty good beer from Sixpoint.
