Dull, slightly-hazy dark copper. Excellent head that lasts, dropping dense lace. Aroma is bitter orange, floral grass/hay, a little pine sap, and clean malt.
Flavor is good, but a little thin. Citric C-hops, a little tropical tang, and faint grainy malt. Superbly-balanced, crisp, and refreshing. Just enough of a bitter kick on the end to let you know it's an IPA. Slight alcohol in back as well.
Moderate carbonation; body towards the lighter side. I like the lower, more balanced bitterness here, but I wish there was more fresh hop flavor. It drinks more like an English IPA -- hops are in front, but malt and alcohol are barely behind. The beer is ridiculously refreshing and I like it a lot. I could drink 3 or 4 pints of these like water. Unfortunately that's not a trait I look for in an IPA.

$ 1.99/12 oz can at Vintage Estates, Boardman, OH
Can BB 08May15 at 40 degrees into standard pint glass
Head small (2 cm), off white, frothy, slowly diminishing to a broken 2 - 4 mm layer
Lacing excellent – complete thick rings and stalactites of mostly small bubbles
Body medium yellow, hazy
Flavor begins with a fairly light piney hop presence which fades to a somewhat chalky bitterness with a short hang time. No malt, no alcohol, no diacetyl.
Palate medium, slightly oily, lively carbonation
Another pretty good beer from Sixpoint.
