Aroma: Initial wheat bread malt complexity quickly followed by orange juice-like hop aromas. Light pear-like fruity esters. No alcohol heat detected. Balance is firmly to the American hop character.
Appearance: Slightly cloudy rich-amber pour. Sudsy white head that retains moderately.
Flavor: Firm hop bitterness up front. Earthy hop and slightly spicy hop notes. Definite rich bread-dough base that is dominated by the earthy hop notes. Low-medium citrus fruit character that isn't as prominent in the flavor as the aroma. Balance is firmly to the hop character. Finish is dry.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Slight hop derived astringency. No heat or creaminess. Appropriate for style.
Overall impression: Classic East Coast interpretation. Well made but not an all time favorite for me. I loved it but seemed to have to much malt character and not enough classic American hop character to scratch the itch for me.

$ 1.99/12 oz can at Vintage Estates, Boardman, OH
Can BB 08May15 at 40 degrees into standard pint glass
Head small (2 cm), off white, frothy, slowly diminishing to a broken 2 - 4 mm layer
Lacing excellent – complete thick rings and stalactites of mostly small bubbles
Body medium yellow, hazy
Flavor begins with a fairly light piney hop presence which fades to a somewhat chalky bitterness with a short hang time. No malt, no alcohol, no diacetyl.
Palate medium, slightly oily, lively carbonation
Another pretty good beer from Sixpoint.
