Nice brown ale. Served from a 16 oz can into a pint glass. Somewhat hazy mahogany color, lots of light comes through. Big off white frothy head with good retention and plenty of lace coating on the glass.

Slightly better than average smell. Before the beer warms up there is some hops presence. Afterwards just some mild malty characteristics.

Tastes good. Toffee and roasted malts, some piney hops bitterness. More hops than usual in a brown ale, but still nicely balanced...advantae on the malty side.

Mouthfeel is a bit thin but nice and crisp/ refreshing. Seems a bit light for 6.00 abv, no hint of alcohol.

A solid brown ale, a bit hoppier than most. Goes down real easy...A winner

A: Pours a murky brownish amber with a creamy, lingering beige mousse.

S: Aromas of biscuit, minerals, caramel, heavy cream, vanilla bean, and mild, earthy ale hops quickly reveal themselves on the nose.

T: Notes of minerals, lemon, lime, and herbs balance notes of biscuit, toast, caramel, toffee, brown butter, leather, heavy cream, and treacle. The finish is nicely balanced and pleasantly smooth, presenting a respectable integration of caramel, toffee, biscuit, herb, and mild citrus notes.

M: Medium-to-full in body and smooth. Carbonation is crisper than average for the style. Very drinkable.

O: A good brown ale. Really easy drinking and with enough complexity to warrant revisiting.

16 oz can poured into a pint glass.
This beer has a dark brown color body with a thin tan head. The smell has a roasty malt and hop to it smell to it. The taste has a maltness upfront and then a nice hop backbone. The hop very nice for a brown ale. Mouthfeel is smooth and overall very tasty for a brown ale.

What a delicious Brown Ale! I hesitantly cracked open a can a year past the best by date and it still has a wonderful, juicy hop aroma and great carbonation.

A: a maroon-ish brown when held up to the light with a pleasant lively head

S: smells delicious! Biscuity malts mixed with a juicy, citrusy hop aroma that reminds me of spring. I associate Brown ales with Autumn, but the hops in this one are completely warm weather-esque.

T: biscuity malts with some aluminum, likely due to being past the enjoy by date. Light with some citrus, coffee, and clove. Maybe even a hint of rosemary or thyme. This has a well-balanced bitterness

M: perfectly bubbly and biting. Smooth and drinkable.
