16oz can poured into my Guinness nonic.
A: gloopy-looking liquid from the can; oily looking brown-black, maybe a finger of cream-colored head. Looks decent.
S: roasted malts, nutty coffee, chocolate, a little smoke, small hop aromatics; sweet-smelling.
T: piney hops upfront! Nice! Drinks like your Cascadian Black Ale. Roasty quality; a bit of anise, breast on the backend. A most unique American Stout--a dry-hopped one, at that.
M: medium-body, medium effervescence. Playful prickly-ness.
O: Sixpoint still retains that similar yeast profile in this brew. Aside from the redundancies, another good'un from their ever-growing lineup.
