So why do the Sixpoint cans need to be so cryptic? Why do I feel like the stories on the can were originally written by Steig Larson and translated from the Swedish just in time to email the proof to can manufacturers?
I WANT beer in cans, but dammit man, I don't want to be forced to look up every single Sixpoint beer just to know if it is a style I'll like! Maybe we could add a little info, oh i dont know, ABOUT THE FREAKING BEER?
Anyway, rant over.
Rather hazy orangey color with a 2 finger off-white head that somehow reminds me of hard-water stains on the inside of a shower door. Decent retention and lacing.
Smells mildly hoppy with some grapefruity citrus notes over a biscuit, caramel, and rye malt bill. The flavor is about the same-- starts lightly sweet with caramel before dry biscuity malt and rye take over. Finish is surprisingly clean and crisp.
Feels quite a bit fuller than medium-bodied with a light oiliness. A little chalky vibe on the finish.
Overall- this is pretty solid. It is almost like a decently balanced Rye pale ale. This is my 2nd favorite Sixpoint beer!

Poured this beer from the 16oz can. It has a light brown color body with a thick head. The aroma is spicy of rye and with a slight hop aroma. The taste has a rye forward flavor with a pine hop taste on the back of the tongue. Mouthfeel is smooth and overall a very tasty beer.
