CANquest part 7!!! I had to see what all of the excitement was about over Sixpoint in cans. Can says 6.3% abv, just to note a difference from the listing.
Appearance: A nice amber color, minimal tan head, leaves good lacing though
Smell: Fruity sweetness and rye spiciness. A nice balance
Taste: Bitter and sweet. Nice hop bitterness, rye spice, and fruity sweetness in a good balance. The fruit mostly tastes like pears. I don't know if this sounds delicious, but it sure does taste delicious.
Mouthfeel: Light to medium body, medium to high carbonation
Overall: A very good brew. I'm very glad Sixpoint has started canning, because I am absolutely going to get my hands on more of their brews, especially if they are as good as this. I could drink this all day. A 16oz can is the perfect size too.
