Bright golden in body with white bubbly head. Weak aroma of diacetyl and light citrus. Tastes of citrus, diacetyl, hop backbone that rushes bitterness and dryness into the palate and then finishes clean with a residual buttery feel. Medium bodied with light carbonation. A full bodied, chewy beer that's fun to sip on.

Growler. Pours a clear deep orange with a thick off-white head. Aroma of bready malts, honey, and some herbal notes (jasmine and other flowery notes). Flavor of sweet pale malts with wheaty/bready notes, honey, and floral hops in the finish. A chill, relaxing kind of beer. I'm not so in love with the herbal/flowery and honey notes. Decent APA.

This was served to me last night with a delightful pizza burger and a snappy salad in an interesting and romantic Italian hideaway at 19 First Ave, NYC. The golden orange ale was served very cold and the unmistakable aroma of hops invited me to taste it in support of the salad. The first taste twisted and turned with a smooth malt character a it reminded me of a home brew creation I had tasted years ago in NY and not tasted since. The overpowering and biting prescience of hops was a little off in the taste as it meshed with the fantastic meat and pizza flavors.

On tap at the Little Frankie's in the lower East Side of NYC, this beer is brewed especially for the restaurant. Pours middle of the road amber, semi cloudy with a fine and tiny bubble head, this basically is a nicely balanced pale, layers of malt and a moderate hoppy bite late. Nicely crafted, drinkable ale, more BA worthy brew from the friendly folds at Sixpoint. Go to Little Frankies, have some of their tasty pizza and wash it down with some Sixpoint...
