Pours black with some sediment evident, a good sized tight fluffy head slowly dissipates with a good deal of lacing as it does. Aroma is a nice mix of cola, roastiness, some sweet malts, and a really nice chocolatiness and dark fruitiness. Flavor follows with a good deal of chocolate and vanilla coming through in the flavor, some earthy roasty and nutty notes, a bit of a cola tanginess and a slight coffee bitterness towards the finish. Mouthfeel is medium in body, but fairly full feeling in the palate with the help of the nice creamy carbonation. A hint of pepper on the tongue and a somewhat dry finish. Very good porter, flavor and drinkability are high but I must say I have been very impressed with the mouthfeel on all the sixpoint beers I've had the pleasure of trying. Just the right amount of body and a beautiful creamy carbonation. Well done. Thanks Shane for the opportunity.

On tap at New York Pizza. Pours a pitch black color with a 1/4 inch of light brown head. Good amount of lacing. The aroma is lots of dark coffee, chocolate, and earth. The taste is coffee at first followed up by chocolate covered espresso beans. Some roasted malts. Finishes with some dark chocolate and coffee. Rich. Moderate alcohol presence. Maybe a bit thin. I think I may like 3 Beans a bit more but it is very close. Overall, great beer I hope they end up canning.

A very generic beer. It has no punch, yet it delivers.

Pours a nice dark beer. Smells like coffee, chocolate. Taste like any other porter, a bit lacking in character. It was a bit thick in the mouth. Easy to drink though, could drink this all day. Light enough.

Had a pint at Barcade in Philly during the Sixpoint Tap Takeover. From notes.

A - Black pour with a film of off white head. Spotty lace and a film of retention.

S - Lot's of coffee, coffee, grounds, roast.

T - Coffee and tons of roast with a bit of milk chocolate.

M - Good carbonation, medium body and a bitter coffee finish.

O/D - An intense coffee porter that worked fairly well. No complaints here, but nothing I would drink a lot of.
