Pours pale yellow with a good foam head with big holes in it. It collapses but still remains. Some lace.

Grassy, herbal notes, with nice malt profile and metallic aromas.

Nice malt forward, but good herbal bitterness. Fresh baked bread, some grass, some grain husk, and then the bitter grass. Nice.

Lean and light, but well carbonated.

A very easy drink, and a nice clean finish. Nice version of the style.

I poured this beer into a glass, it has a murkey orange color body with a small fizzy head. The armoma had a citrus, lemon aroma to it. The taste has a crisp pilsner flavor, hop and citrus, malt. The hops also gives it a earthy, grassy flavor also. The mouthfeel is smooth and crisp and overall a good pilsner.

16 oz can into a pint glass.

A: Pours an unusually cloudy golden color. The white-colored head is a finger high and very rough in texture. Retention is lacking. Lacing, though, is fairly nice - a semi-solid ring is left on the glass.

S: Lemony like whoa. There are other citrusy notes like lime and orange, too. The malt backbone is seemingly minimal - and that's a good thing. Some faint buttery hints are also present. I like my pilsners to have a big, hoppy bite; this certainly looks like it will fit that equation. On the other hand, the nose is a bit weak for me.

T: Oh yeah, that's nice and bitter. The primary hop flavor is a ton of lemon; other notes of apricot, lime, grass, and orange hide subtly behind it. Its bitter bite hits the palate immediately, yet it slightly subsides near the semi-sweet finish. As it warms up a bit, the crackery malts come out to play a bit, helping to balance this in all the right ways.

M: Due to its haze, it's not a clean beer, at all. On the other hand, it's very much crisp-finishing and easy to drink - refreshing, too. It's not entirely bone dry, but I wouldn't trade the pre-swallow creaminess for anything else. Carbonation is surprisingly soft.

O: The more I sample from Sixpoint, the more I start to 'get' them. Maybe it's the way they hold up a middle finger to style conventions (this is some weird hybrid between a German pils, a kellerbier, and a good ol' fashioned hoppy 'Murican lager; even better, it actually works), I don't know. All I know is I would definitely buy this again.

355ml Can from Crystal Palace (Wetherspoons), Glasgow (£2.49):
Clear, light golden colour with a lot of visible carbonation showing through plenty of bubbles rising to the surface. Has a half cm, foamy white head that hold pretty well with some lacing too.

Light pilsener malts & some grassy hops with a crisp & clean aroma that has some bittersweet notes coming through & faint citrus with a few earthy notes as well. It was a fairly light smelling beer & pretty much as I was expecting for the style.

Light & clean pilsener taste with some earthy bitterness coming through & a few malts as well. There was a light citrus & lemon taste with some grassy hops on top of that.

Smooth & clean on the palate with a naturally crisp finish as the name hinted at. The beer was a good thirst quencher with carbonation levels about medium with a medium body & a slightly bittersweet finish.

A decent pilsener & not a bad offering from Sixpoint, although it wasn't in the same league as their Bengali Tiger. Nice & crisp, living up to the name at least but there are better pilseners out there.
