16oz can at fridge temp, best before 08AUG2012.

pours a pretty clear bright gold color. about one fingers worth of pure white head off the pour, settles to some patchy foam and a light foamy ring, no real lace.

the aroma is light. lots of minerals and maybe even a touch of sulfer, a touch of sweet grains and grass, hay.

mineral water, a bit of sweet grain. a decent hop bite for a pilsner, mostly in the way of bitterness at the finish, but some grassy, lemon citrus, slightly floral flavors are noticed from the hops.

the mouthfeel is nice. definatly crisp and quite drinkable, great on a hot day, refreshing and thirst quenching. carbonation is a touch bitey. overall mouthfeel is pretty light.

a pretty good pilsner. this really isnt one of my favorite styles, but it is one of my favorite breweries so i would drink this again. be that as it may, i feel this is a bit overpriced considering what it is, id almost be just as happy with a sixpack of PBR or urquell.

Pours amber with a large, fading, white head.
Nose shows hay, spicy hops, grassy notes and light grainy malt.
Flavours are very hop-focused. Big spicy, floral, citrus-y and grassy notes. Little else. Some light malt. Assertive bitterness.
Nice high carbonation.

A: Pours a slightly hazy gold with a creamy, thick white head that recedes very slowly.

S: Aromas of biscuit, crackers, grain, straw, grass, herbs, lemon, lime, and honey are present on the nose.

T: Notes of minerals, lemon, lime, biscuits, crackers, fresh herbs, straw, grass, honey, and grain wash across the palate. The finish is short and crisp with lemon, lime, grass, mineral, and cracker flavors lingering.

M: Light-to-medium in body and quite dry. Carbonation is crisp and firm. This lager is superbly easy to drink and incredibly refreshing.

O: A nice lager that is more or less in the German style. The body is a little too slight and not quite dry enough for me to fully accept this beer as an authentic German-style pils, yet it is still very good.
