16 oz can served in a nonic glass.

Pours light amber in color with a good head that has decent retention and some lacing. Little in the way of rising carbonation bubbles for style. Poor clarity.

Aroma: mixed grains, soft fruits and herbal hops.

Flavor: Fruity for style.

Feel: light body and medium-low, too low, carbonation. Semi-dry finish.

O: a decent pilsner, but compares poorly to the SN/Firestone Walker Beer Camp Torpedo Pilsner that preceded it.

Pours a pale amber colour, with slight bubbling. Head is white, a bit thin but decent. Lace is OK. Nice enough.

Smells weird. Honey and boot polish. Sweet, oaty bread. Bit funky. Odd.

Taste is quite bready, yeasty. Dry, with some rubber notes and more honey, and a touch of oat. Some crisp apple, but not much else crisp or really fresh. OK though.

A bit of texture. Bit of body. Still a bit stodgy for a lager.

Nice enough, but could be crisper for something called 'the crisp'.

Appearance: A touch darker than your adjunct pilsner, it's crowned by a fairly fluffy head. Good head retention.

Smell: Hops, some biscuit malt, and a little bit of skunkiness that you're going to expect from a German-style pilsner.

Taste: Fresh, ultra-dry hops and a touch of malt. This isn't my favorite style by any means, but this beer tastes refreshing with its floral flavors.

Mouthfeel: Near perfect, the beer truly is crisp without being overcarbonated. It's sessionable despite being flavorful.

Overall: Absolutely the best pilsner I've had and likely to please the IPA fans who are normally wary of malty lagers or pilsners.
