Pours a cloudy and light gold color with lots of head that dies quick with lace patches around glass. Beer is light, smooth, the minor citric hoppy crispness is dominant but there is a little big of sweetness coming off as well thanks to a good balance. Finishes dry and crisp and is a simple and enjoyable beer.

A: Very pale yellow, almost totally transparent.

S: It lets you know that it has an all-American hop bill, and that it's not a traditional German pilsner by any stretch of the imagination. More subtle than a pale ale, but the aroma is hop forward.

T: My first thought when tasting it is that it has a super "clean" taste to it. I'm not really sure how to describe it. It's not a sipper, it begs you to chug the whole glass. You get a little orange rind in the middle, followed by some crackery malt, with a lingering slightly bitter finish.

M: Super light, like I said it begs to be chugged.

I've never had anything like it, the hops are up front (and familiar, for someone who drinks more hoppy beers than anything else), but the combination of the hops and super light lager mouthfeel and appearance make this one pretty unique. I gave this to my dad and a friend who drinks more Steel Reserve than craft, and they both really enjoyed it. I think this is a great "gateway" beer for those who are used to AALs and the like. Light, while having no shortage of flavor.

Best by May 9, 2015. 12oz can poured into a pint glass. This was a gusher, but didn't affect the experience. Pours a pale yellow with a small white head that leaves nice retention and solid lacing. The aromas are full of sweet pilsener malts. Lots of citrus notes. I will say there is a nice hop presence in the aromas and flavors. Some pear in the mix as well. The flavors are great. There's definitely a hop bite to this one, but still remains true to the style. Maybe some black pepper in the mix as well, but it's really not spicy. It's extremely clean and refreshing. The mouthfeel is very nice. It's light with a solid body to it. The carbonation is active and it's very smooth. This is an extremely drinkable brew. It's perfect for the warm weather, but will hit the spot during any season.

I'm pretty much blown away. This is definitely my favorite beer I've had from Sixpoint. I'm disappointed that it took me so long to try this. Awesome stuff. Highly recommended.
