A: An impressive 2 and half fingers of white head on a medium golden beer with excellent clarity.

S: A medium-low earthy and floral Noble hops aroma. I get some pils malt aroma but otherwise it's just a clean lager fermentation.

T: A medium amount of floral and earthy hops flavor with a medium hops bitterness dominate. There is a moderate Pils malt sweetness. The finish is dry and the aftertaste has a quick hops bitterness with a slight harshness ( but this can wasn't refrigerated as the brew suggests). The balance is somewhat bitter.

M: True to it's name a crisp, medium bodied beer that is a bit fluffy feeling with moderately-strong carbonation.

O: There should to be so many more flavorful lagers like this available in the market. This beer is mostly straight forward noble hops with some pilsner malt and a clean lager fermentation.

Sixpoint - The Crisp

On my journey of having every Sixpoint brew, this one was next.

Look - Pours golden with a slight haze. Medium, fizzy head that fades fast. Moderate lacing.

Smell - Hoppy and grainy, typical lager but with an added punch. Citrus (lemon) abound.

Taste - Crisp is right! Citrus (lemon) hops that are subtle with a grain malt sweetness to it. Like a tart lemonade of beers.

Mouthfeel - this brew made me think it was Summer in Winter (Spring technically but there's snow on the ground, so Winter). Highly drinkable!

Overall - My first craft lager, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Very complex for its type yet at the same time it stays true to the formula and the goal, to quench and refresh.

Clear but not bright. Leaves minimal but sticky lace.

Smells hoppy.

Taste is bitter and grassy. More like a hoppy Czech Pils imo.

Crisp is a good descriptor here. MF is the best aspect of the beer.

Overall a nice American take on a lager. Don't care for the 16oz cans though, it encourages the usage of pints. I prefer my .4L stange myself.

Cheers! Abort!

Light tan and clear, fizzy white head that didn't last too long and left sparse lacing.

Aroma was grainy, bready, with some light hops notes. Not bad at all.

Flavor is again quite grainy, a little sweet, plenty of bready malt, lightly hoppy.

Light and easy drinking, slightly slick on the way down.

It's a pretty good German Pilsner, would make a good fishin' beer. I like that it's in cans.
