poured out for me with nice two inches of head on the beer also had left big big lacing all the way down i lke that really perfect hazy color mmm looks so good

wow smell is faint but really unique like grass and also some weird spice in there its pleasant and unusual

wow great amazing taste it was this awesome razor bitterness straight through with a big wallop in the end

creamy mouthfeel almost perfect little bubbles

Had on tap at Julian’s Providence—served into a pint glass

Appearance: ¼ inch head, gold in color, clear, moderate carbonation

Smell: big pine hops

Taste: grass and caramel start, then a nice dose of pine hops

Mouthfeel: Exceptionally smooth for an IPA, medium carbonation, light bodied, sweet start that gets really bitter.

Overall: A nice and piney drinkable IPA. I really like the mouthfeel on this. It is juicy, yet somehow the hops are not overpowering..worth a second glass.

On tap at Armsby Abbey.

A - Yellow body that is nearly transparent. White head. Really doesn't look like an IPA. Looks light.

S - Fruity and floral hops, but it isn't strong. Some biscuity malts and a touch of spice in the back. Doesn't really smell like an IPA either.

T - Slightly hoppy, but mostly light biscuity malts. Really doesn't have a great deal of flavor. It has a bitter finish and kind of a lagery stale flavor.

M - The weight of a normal IPA. It has an awkwardly strong bitter finish, though.

O - Really not a flavorful beer. Tastes like very little and then it's bitter.

Tap at Armsby Abbey

Nice creamy 1 finger head fades semi slowly with lacing over slight hazy golden honey colored.

Nose had nice hops, fairly fresh, nice floral aromatic, light pine, a bit earthy and spicy hop, some citrus and orange peel, faintest hint of sweet malts underneath.

Taste brings more hops, light pine, light musty resin, very spicy hops, nice citrus and orange rind, light fruits, quite bitter and starts to get slightly astringent but not much, and very light sweet malts with a hint of honey, finishes drier with a long bitter hoppy finish with more spicy hops as well as some citrus, orange rind, and light resinous hop oil.

Mouth is med bodied, dec carb.

Overall pretty good, a typical well hopped chinook ipa with a light malt profile and long bitter finish, ramped ibus, and fresh hops.

Dark, golden yellow in color with an orange hue and a deep haze. Poured with a substantial sticky, foamy whie head that left a ladder of lacings down the glass. Very fresh herbal and spicy hop aromas are prevalent with a touch of citrus orange and a light, bready maltiness beneath. On the lighter side of mediium bodied. Wet and creamy feel up front with a lightly resinous finish. Spicy and herbal hop flavors with a touch of citrus through the middle and a light, sweet, bready, malt backbone. Hop flavors transition to spicy and piney at the finish with a lightly bitter aftertaste. Delicate and refreshing.

Yes! Hops!

Got to try this one on the way home from GOTV stopped with friends for a layover back in Worcester at the Armsbey Abbey. Great place and great food!

Really liked this beer so came back home to do some research on it. Turns out its a rotating series that features different hops. My server gave me a pint that was cloudy and murkey and sort of a pale gold color. Beautiful head on top!

Wow incredible smell! Smelled like green onion, nutmeg, and herbs. Seriously piney thing going on. Here come the hops!

Taste was nice and dry. Really nice bitterness in the end. Awesome creamy mouthfeel made me want more! Hops are here to stay and yes please I want to try the other eleven!

I gotta make it back here soon. I hope I can find other locations where it will be.

On tap at the Armsby Abbey. The first in a line of 12 different hops.

A - Poured into a standard pint glass a crystal clear golden hue with a creamy one finger white head that fades slowly leaving surprisingly large amounts of side lacing along with a thick creamy blanket.

S - Very light fresh hop aromas. I DO get what another poster described as green onion, in a good way. Reminds me of walking through fields along a river on an early spring morning.

T - Very nice light sweet malts intermixing with a very sessionable unassertive hop presence. The hops are bitter, with light notes. There is a flavours I can't quite put my finger on. Not quite buttery but not a usual hop quality. Fresh and sweet.

M - A very nice and refreshing mouthfeel. Highly sessionable thanks to the average abv hidden by the nice floral hops. Good dry finish, not too bitter at all.

O - Overall I enjoyed this ipa. Sixpoint makes some very good brews and this is one of them. Looking forward to trying the others in the series.

on tap at devils den in philly

Pours a hazed lighter orange color with some straw like hues. A layer of white head fades into some patchy film, leaving plenty of lacing on the glass.

A blast of punchy, spicy hops in the nose with some pine notes. Lighter touches of citrus with some faint sweetness, but mostly dominated by bitterness.

Intensely bitter up front with pine and resiny hops. A noticeable amount of spiciness runs deep throughout the profile. Touches of citrus with pith and rind, giving way to a smaller malt backbone. Soft sweetness with bread, quickly swept away by the hoppy, dry finish.

Medium body, somewhat higher carbonation, sticky and lingering on the tongue. A delicious IPA from Sixpoint, and I really enjoyed the extra spicy hop bite in the flavor. Also, I drank two pints of this in a row, which isn't the norm for me.
