Smiths Party.

A- Slightly hazy golden yellow body into a pint glass. Small white head and a creamy ring. A few spots of lace.

S- Not a ton but simple and nice. Herbal and lemon zest hops come to mind with a sweet backbone.

T- Again, nice and clean. Hop forward with lemon zest, citrus and floral herbal notes mostly. Rounded out by a sweet light malt and yeast bread backbone. Banana and clove esters, maybe a yeast influence.

MF- Clean and crisp body witha creamy feel. High carbonation on the tongue. Slight bitter finish.

Interesting with a lot going on. Hoppy, yeasty and a little malt.

Sampled on tap at Wantagh Beverage, served in a plastic cup.

L - hazzed orange color with a off-white head that was very thick.

S - tropical fruit aroma.

T - the taste didn't have as much of the hops I was expecting after the aroma but it wasn't bad by any means.

F - medium bodied with mild carbonation.

O - a decent beer that reminded me slightly of Autumnation without the spices.

Ooh the Mad Scientists Series. I like that.

This one poured copper with small head. Huge grapefruit aroma. Lots of pine too. Got a weird peach aroma as well.

Big full bodied intensity. Syrupmand sugar and fruitnpit.

Double hop intensity upfront.

Finishes with hop curtail in the end and max pain. This one is a winner.

I had this on-tap at Max's. Served in a sample glass.

Appearance: Pours a cloudy amber with some white head that goes away quickly.

Smell: A slight fruitiness along with a malt sweetness. Doesn't smell a whole lot.

Taste: Quite sweet with some strong fruit notes. The bitterness in the finish clashes with the other flavors a little bit.

Mouthfeel: Medium body with tingly carbonation. Slightly chalky in the finish.

Overall: I thought this was an interesting beer, but the fruity notes and the hop bitterness clashed a bit.
