I still don't know how I feel about this one...
Poured from a "nanokeg" into a pint glass.
A: Pours a deep, hazy orange-brown, with a one-finger head and leaves a decent amount of lacing on the glass. The color is the only place where I got any hint of pumpkin.
S: Dominated by the wet hops, but I got a bit of ginger. No spices or pumpkin here.
T: Fresh hops, with the wet hop notes dominating, then giving way to a little bit of ginger before finishing cleanly. I would have liked a little pumpkin at the back but I'm not sure if Sixpoint had any intention of that to begin with.
M: Full bodied, not overly carbonated, and a bit sticky.
O: I'm not sure what I was expecting here, but this wasn't it. However, that's not necessarily a bad thing. I think Sixpoint should either lose the pumpkin or bring it out more, because I kept wondering where it was. However, I did enjoy drinking it, and the wet hops really set it apart from their other beers and provided a nice touch.
