Enjoyed in a tulip glass
A: pours a very hazy golden color which is quite bright and pours with two fingers of very fluffy off white head which has a great texture and lingers nicely before dissipating and leaving a nice amount of sticky lacing all around the glass
S: nice citrus hops, very herbal and fresh also has a slight early note
T: o yea, that's a pretty delicious DIPA and from a can too! nice hop notes, deeper hop notes not so much citrus as i had expected but maybe simcoe or titan? not sure but definitely has a great depth and really drinks smoothly for 9.1%
M: relatively gentle carbonation, drinks creamily, leaves the mouth nice and dry as well as sticky
O: really enjoyed this brew and will absolutely be picking up more of it this summer for some out door adventures, id say it compares to torpedo in cans but not quite as tastey

Freshness: Best by 06-09-2014
Packaging: 12 oz. skinny can
Purchased: 4-pack from Chuck's, Bowling Green KY
A: Hazy, dark copper colored-beer with a white head. I get a good amount of lace; the head dissipates pretty quickly.
S: Smells are a fabulous melding of fragrant floral and citrus hops plus rich, caramel maltiness. I could happily smell this all day long...
T: The taste has a sharp bitterness of the citrus/fruity hops, as in grapefruits, but also has the malty caramel flavors noted in the aroma.
M: Full-bodied, the beer finishes with the same themes of resinous (ha!) hops and malt undertones.
O: Bold DIPA with a great balance -- loved it!
