Pours a crystal-clear light amber with moderate head. There is a strong aroma of pine and lime from the hops. The taste... so smooth and balanced. It's nice and hoppy with a perfect match of malt sweetness. I could easily drink one Resin after another: it's that good (and deadly if you were to do that).
The one caveat of Resin is that SixPoint requests that it be kept refrigerated constantly from brewery to home due to their use of fresh hop flowers. You'll find very few places where that's the case. (Plus IMO long-term refrigeration can ruin a beer just as much as keeping it out in the heat.) Try to find the freshest cans possible: I had a three-month-old can of Resin and the quality dropped significantly.
The fact that this beer has become easily available (in my area at least) is spoiling me. Hopefully more people across the country will be able to experience this stellar offering from SixPoint.

Pours a dense light orange with a swiftly rising, mildly off white head. Looks sticky and it is. It leaves tons of lace on the glass and has nice legs too.
Smells like rich caramel with nice hints of citrus. This is hop dominant but the malts really balance it out well. It's dense on the tongue and the hops present well at first, then the malt sweetness finishes it off. The rich creaminess allows it to linger and it has a very nice carbonation level.
I really hope this is a year round brew as I could see this as a go to beer.
