Pours a super hazy dark amber. Thick head of foamy bubbles.

Upfront aroma of honey and wild flowers. Followed by citrus hop resins.

Very dominant citrus rind notes. Grapefruit and lemon. Pine resins and honey.

Biting carbonation. Each sip leaves an oil slick of hop resins on the tongue.

This brew lives up to it's name. Resinous hop flavors and oily resinous mouthfeel. Never disappoints.

On tap poured into a tulip glass, nice head and thick, sticky lacing that lingers. A golden honey color.

Smells are of hops, straight up hops, earthy pine, with a hint of citrus.

This one is piney, hops are up front with loads of pine and hops flavor. I detect a hint of citrus and not much of the malt at all. The pine lingers long after a swallow.

Chewy full bodied mouthfeel with slight carbonation, kind of thick.

Overall, a decent DIPA, I would definitely categorize this as Northwest IPA, it lives up to its name, the piney hops are a bit too much to my liking and stick around with you for a while. Well made, a little unbalanced and not my favorite DIPA
