(Served in a tulip)
A- This beer pours a hazy orange body with a thin cream head that fades to a ring after a few sips but sticks to the glass with each sip. There is a sluggish microcarbonation.

S- The new sneaker green hops turns woody and pungent as it finishes with some softer green citrus notes.

T- The green musty pine wood hops has some grass notes to it in the finish. There is a nice fresh pale malt hint and some candy grapefruit notes that show up as it warms aswell.

M- The medium mouthfeel has a gentle carbonation but no alcohol heat.

O- This beer has a nice rich hop character with a strong malt support but it is not bitter so it is really sessionable.

Pours a hazy amber with fluffy white head, sparse patches of fine lace left behind. Smell: a bit muted, but nice... papaya-y tropical fruit, tangerine, pine, mildly sweet. Taste: pine and sweet citrus along with an almost syrupy pale malt sweetness, lingering grapefruit peel. Medium bodied, almost chewy, then finishing juicy with oily hop everywhere. Not a world beater, but delicious. This had a far off date on the 4pk holder... Oct '13 or so.

Raul doesn't indulge in that other kind of resin, so obviously he got him some of the good liquid kind. Right out of the gate, this sucker smelled fresher than Cleopatra before she met Mark Antony. But when Raul poured it out: snake bitten. Kind of insipid and flat. Taste also kind of follows suit and is malty (and a bit sharp) rather than rooty tooty fresh and fruity.

It's aite, but like Arby's, Raul will never touch it again.

*Raul takes it back. After his last sip he enjoyed this thang and would indulge again.

can from Specific Gravity in MD

a: served in a unibroue tulip, a deeply hazed, dark maple-amber in color, an initially thick coating of khaki carbonation recedes to a thin ring and light lace

s: monstrous pine sap resins with a strong underlaying of pungent citrus rind, malt body heavily laden with toasted caramel, strong alcohols, big and bold on each side of the spectrum, I’d take nuance over brashness any day, but sometimes it’s nice to get you teeth handed to you

m: carbonation low-moderate, smooth on the tongue, with a weighty palate

t: resinous - of course - pine sap hops over a dense body of caramel malts, heavily sweet with dense toasted malt sugars, easily matching the strength of the hops, hugely bitter to finish, pure grapefruit acid, lingering with pine tea acids and toasted malt residue

o: a very nice dipa, powerful on both ends, a little simple in its over-the-top strength, a real bruiser of a hop bomb

12 oz tall boy can into a pint glass. Best Before: September 11, 2013....so its pretty fresh no?

A - Pours a hazy amber body with a finger of white foam. Decent amount of lacing with minimal retention.

S&T - Pine, grapefruit, and sweet bubble gum. The taste is piney and very sweet with candied peaches and bitter grapefruit. Despite the high IBU it's not over the top bitter. Surprisingly delicious. Mouth feel is medium bodied, slick, and oily.

O - Damn, this beer really surprised me. Candied peaches and resinous piney hops. This is a stand out beer that I always overlooked.
