A- Pours a golden orange that is intensely bright. Medium, 2 finger head that retains and laces awesome. Moderately hazy.

S- Lots of hop bitterness is right up front as expected. Mostly pine scents with some sweet malt mixed in. Fairly complex for an IIPA, as it is not completely hops on the nose. Sweet flavors remind me a little of honey mostly.

T- Starts with some solid malt backbone then blasts right into the hops. First, a piney hops blast kicks you in the tongue. Then, a slight hint of sweetness creeps in before being crushed by more bitter hops. The drink ends with a harsh, bitter hop profile that is dry and extra bitter.

M- Thick and creamy for a IIPA, but I like it. Medium to low amount of carbonation. Alcohol is fairly well hidden, but the hops themselves will crush your palate, making this one more of a sipper.

Overall, this is a pretty damn solid IIPA. The best part of this beer is that it is an everyday beer (~$10 for a 4-pack) that can kill you with hops.

Pours a slightly hazy orange copper with a dense white head and strong lacing. Highly attractive beer.

Smell is very satisfying for an IPA. Pine upfront, citrus if you're looking for it. Bit of a soapy quality too, but not overly detracting.

Taste falls a bit flatter than the aroma. Sturdy malts upfront followed by a big bitter bite. Loads of pine. Really looking for more distinct hop characteristics from a fresh can like this one though.

Mouthfeel is somewhat watery, but nothing earth-shatteringly sub-par.

Overall a very good beer which I will likely buy again if I see it fresh. Not the greatest readily available DIPA, but a damn fine option.

16oz stovepipe can

A - darker golden color, chunky white foam, leaves lots of lacing.

S - earthy pine, wet hop type smell, dank hops.

T - rich and dense piney dank hops. Resin seems an appropriate name. Oily rich citrus, oranges and grapefruit.

M - good. Medium carbonation, creamy feel

O - this is a good beer, it's just not my cup of tea. The hop profile is just too dank and earthy for me. I prefer a little brighter citrus floral hop.

a - poured a two-fingers thick bubbly and off-white head into a willi becher tumbler that left great lacing and sheeting throughout. the body was an orange-amber color.
s - smells clean and minty with herbal, piney and grassy hops.
t - pine, mint, spice, grass. a big hop bomb.
m - medium and creamy.
o - punches you in the mouth with hops yet still balanced. great DIPA.
