Poured from a 12 oz can into a snifter. Pours a orange yellow with a nice fluffy white head that leaves some nice lacing. Smells of floral hops with slight piney and earthy tones, very inviting. Tastes of piney and earthy hops with high malt body and slight soapy feel, probably from the resin. Medium bodied beer has higher carbonation than expected but still finishes very well. Overall, a very good beer.

Pours a mostly clear, classic golden color with an eggshell colored head that is just the right size. It's a nice looking beer. Smells like a piney pilsner. Doesn't drink like a pilser. Full, oily mouthfeel and pretty obrusive hop explosion. There's quite a bit of alcohol noted in the flavor too. I think it has pretty good balance despite the big hop presence. I like it.

Received in a very nice box today from JxExM.. Thanks a bunch Justin!! Best by July 9th, 2013... I would guess that is pretty damn fresh. Poured into my HotD goblet... 2 finger sorta yellowish head has great retention and lacing... the brew is hop-hazed orange.

Huge piney/grapefruit zest hoppiness is sorta muted by a seemingly IMO too big malt profile... plenty of pale malt and lesser toasty maltiness.

Bejeezus... bitter, but still pretty inviting... again big piney hoppiness with pithy grapefruit.. finish is sorta lingering floral hoppiness... There is still plenty of malt on the palate, but it is in the background and only helps carry the hops... Somehow this never really becomes a palate ripper, instead it is honestly pretty balanced.

Thicker than many DIPA's but a good carbonation asks for another sip.

Thanks again Justin, my tasting group has had these a few times, but I always wanted to give one a proper review.
