A: Pours a slightly cloudy golden straw with about a half finger of white head that fades very quickly. No lacing left on the glass as it drinks.
S: The nose is belgian yeast, banana, green apple, pineapple, and bubblegum. There is a mild tartness, even in the nose, that I'm intrigued by.
T: Umm. Light and sweet up front with the Belgian esters and fruits. Definite banana and bubblegum. As it moves to the middle I get some more fruityness out of it, and it shifts to a funkier side. Green apple and pineapple. Spot on with the nose. The finish is mildly puckering, but more so on the sides of the tongue.
M: Light bodied beer. It's sweet and refreshing to start, but gets a little weird in the middle. The finish is a tad sour, but everything seems to work well together.
O: Solid beer. This might actually be my favorite Sixpoint beer. I've been let down by their cans in the past, but this is a great summer brew with nice marriage of complexity and drinkability.
