Can into wine glass.
Pour a robust chocolaty dark red color with 1 finger cafe 'o' le' color head. Intense lacing! Japanese ocean surf paintings come to mind, no kidding!
Smells of dark caramel malts with chocolate malts all over the place. Roasted coffee notes come through with a touch of alcohol. Licorice, anise hint of dark fruit.
Tastes of licorice and darki complex chocolte with coffee roasted malts. A touch of bitter and some earthyness. A little citrus rind bitter on the finish.
Good carbonation froth fades fast to a thin almost watery consistensy.
Very interesting beer good coffee and chocolate meld, not overpowering.
