A - Pours a super dark chocolate-cherry color that almost looks black, a fine layer of creamy coffee colored head and lacing, very sticky/syrupy with legs when the glass is swirled.
S - Coffee, Expresso, burnt chocolate, and light cream.
T - Ash, peat, coffee beans, Expresso, light alcohol, dark roasted chocolate, oak, and black cherries. This one starts out "sort of" like a porter but seems to morph into more stout characteristics in the middle, and finishes with an interesting black cherry/oak/cream/coffee bitterness.
M - Mellow carbonation, rich, velvety, lightly viscous and sticky, full medium body (although not overly thick like I anticipated).
O - An interesting beer from Sixpoint that's very unique compared to all the other Porters out there, definitely worth a try.
