12oz can poured into snifter
Clouded mahogany pour with a crop of lightly tanned head resting on top. Fades into a thicker film with spotty patches of lacing all over the glass.
Cocoa powder and hints of dark chocolate in the nose. Coffee beans, roasted dark malts and a touch of vanilla with a soft warmth.
Softly sweet up front with cocoa and dark chocolate. Hint of bitterness with roasted coffee beans leading into the thick malt backbone. Light hint of oak, a little nutty, hint of vanilla and caramel. Finishes with some lingering coffee acidity and alcohol warmth.
Fuller medium body, well carbonated, chewy and sticky on the palate. This is easily one of the better canned Sixpoint offerings of late, and I really wouldn't have pegged this at 10% abv.
