16oz. can poured into a snifter.
(A)- Pours a hazed orange color. Some white froth that dissipated quickly.
(S)- Kind of a rustic citrus of orange meets a slight nutmeg-like spice.
(T)- Slightly hoppy with a bit of spice and pine. Kind of disjointed for me.
(M)- It has a good carbonation level. The balance is a bit strange for me. It is ever so slightly sweet with good citrus hops, but that twang of spice kind of throws this off for me.
(O)- Not bad, but it is trying to be too many things at once. I get that it is an IPA, but its almost like it is trying to be a pumpkin ale too. Very hoppy pumpkin does not work in this case for me.

Tawny golden beer that is slightly transparent...verging on opaque. Foamy white head that does not easily dissipate.. Smell is a fruit/pine hoppy mix..this def smells like pale ale. I smell orange and spice which may be stronger when poured fresh. Taste is full bodied pale ale..bitter opening to a light pleasant orangey sweetness toward the end..definitely bitter orange. Mouthfeel is pretty thick for a pale ale. Overall, not bad, but I want more sweetness out of a beer that smells the way this one does. It's almost like a hybrid witbier/pale ale when I wish the witbier aspect I notice to shine through more..(I don't detect wheat so much, but some May know what I mean here)
