A - We went here on a Sunday afternoon around early dinner time. A number of people waiting outside and inside was crowded with people waiting for tables. We initially came here just to grab a beer or two and move on to some of the other places down the street to check them out too. Very casual, decent sized bar and lots of tables available. Large board above the bar listing beers on tap and I especially liked the painted brewery/beer logos on the brick walls. Very low key place to sit and enjoy a couple beers.
Q - The beer selection was loaded with quality beers from many craft breweries and also several selections of Fathead's own beers. I had heard good things about their Headhunter IPA and was not disappointed. Plenty of beers from Stone, Troegs, Bells, Victory and many others on tap.
S - We eventually sat at the bar and found that the two bartenders on duty were mostly friendly and there was never a long wait to get a beer poured. Seemed like the sitdown areas were well staffed (maybe even overstaffed) too.
S - Good variety of beers from many breweries and hitting a wide range of styles. Something for everyone. Especially liked a couple of the house beers they were pouring too. A good mix, mostly of popular craft breweries, nothing too exotic or rare - but top quality all around.
F - Menu was expansive, but mainly consisted of pub appetizers, burgers and sandwiches...probably 25 different burgers available - made choosing something a tough decision. Ended up going with a pretzel with honey mustard, which was quite good, but maybe a bit too much salt on it, and some chicken wings which were also good - had a choice of maybe 10 different styles and heat levels - again something for every taste. Nothing fancy here but good nonetheless.
Overall liked this place - good place to stop for some quality brews. Definitely would go back, but there is some tough competition along this street.
