On tap at Elliot Bay Brewery in Burien, WA. August 22nd, 2011.
A: The beer poured a golden orange color with a thin cap of white foam covering the surface. Lacing was minimal but clung to the sides of the glass before disappearing.
S: There were aromas of peach nectar, grapefruit, orange peel with some pine and herbal notes. The alcohol also came through giving off a slightly boozy nose.
T: The beer starts with an almost overwhelming initial hit of sweet alcohol, but is then mellowed with some nice touches of peach nectar, grapefruit and grass.
M: The beer has a dry mouth feel with medium carbonation and a very pleasant bitterness.
O: The entire time I drank this, I kept thinking of riot punch from the World Series Defense episode of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. It's an appropriate comparison thanks to the very fruity flavor of this beer. Not the best Imperial IPA, but it's worth trying.

A: Poured a hazy orangish color with good carbonation and a small white head
S: Citrus hops, very earthy in the nose and ef a different take on a IPA
T: Different. Plenty of pale and crystal malts left me scratching my head. I would be hard pressed to call this a American IIPA with Pale, Crytsal,Munich and Pilsner malts. Did not have the taste or feel of the style. Citrus and earthy. Galena, Magnum, Glacier, Styrian and some other hops are not a good mix.
M: Bitterness, odd feel from the unique blend of malts and hops here.
D: While I toatally applaud the name and the reason for this beers name being the WTO Battle of Seattle riots celebratory beer I struggled and found myself protrsting to finish it. I grabbed a growler to go and regret it because I did not dig it

Served in straight pint glass. Poured a hazy orangeish/light amber color, with just over an inch of nice white head made of tight, small bubbles that left lots of thick, sticky lacing.
A citrusy hop scent greets the nose with a trace of pine in the back. The flavors deliver more than the aromas promised. Sure the citrus was there, but there were also flavors I couldn't quite place between the upfront flavors and the piney finish.
The body was fuller than a lot of ImpIPAs, which was a pleasant surprise for me. Very well balanced and drinkable for a beer this big.
Overall a very good example of the style, one worth seeking out.

Much better than there normal IPA. Pours a nice orange yellow with white foaming monster of a head. The smell is over the top hop. Very citrusy and lemon zest, the sweetness makes it berrible with a nice caramel and syrup sweetness. Thick for an IPA, good.
