Almost the same as the draft version, which I previously reviewed (from a growler), but I thought the cask had a better mouthfeel due to the natural carbonation, as well as a full rich maltiness with slightly more subdued hops. The overall effect is slightly higher drinkability. If they have this on cask, get it, and I dare you not to drink two or more in one sitting.

Poured a light amber hue with a one finger creamy white head.

The smell featured a light biscuity malt, some ceral grains and a pungent flowery hop.

The taste consisted of a moderate biscuity malt, some sweet caramel malt and a vibrant British hop.

The mouthfeel was full and creamy. .

Overall a tasty and very sessionable ale. Well suitef for cask.

Had on tap at the brewpub. It was light copper color with a thin wet-looking head. The aroma was mostly malts, a little toasty or caramelly, great for the style. I didn't detect much of the hops in the aroma or flavor, but they must have balanced the sweetness from the malt just right. Nice session beer, easy to drink.
