Our lightest beer, this is a popular brew in rural Iowa. Malted wheat is carefully blended wtih the traditional malted barley, and brewed with special hops to create a "Summer Fest" beer.

12 oz brown bottle, label as pictured above, part of a mixed case from Amana.
Description from their website: "Our lightest beer, this is a popular brew in rural Iowa. Malted wheat is carefully blended with the traditional malted barley, and brewed with special hops to create a "Summer Fest" beer. Light and zesty in itself, the beer is served in a tall glass with a slice of lemon."
Pour yellow gold color, quite clear (clearer than expected), small white head. Not much retention or lace. Light wheat aroma with a bit of wet grass and some yeast.
Light flavor, slightly yeasty and a hint of wheat. Mouthfeel is light, but it is supposed to be light and refreshing, easy to drink. Not alot of big flavors, makes it thirst quenching. I found it comparable, maybe slightly better, than Big Rock Grasshopper.

Rather thick for a wheat beer, very much like liquid bread, although it does have a decent fruit taste to it, a rather decent wheat ale.
