A- Golden hues with excellent clarity. One finger head that leaves moderate lacing.

S- Floral and citurs with bready malt notes that are less pronounced.

T- Mmm hops. Im guessing the hop additions to the wort were late and short lived..not much bitterness but great hop flavor. Im glad I can taste the malt as well, caramel bready goodness!

M- Light carbonation, full mouthfeel, good job Colorado.

O- I really enjoyed the hop flavor without the burden of over bitterness.Overall a great showing from that Brazilians from Colorado!

Picked up a bottle in Durango, Colorado. I couldn't locate a bottle date or Best By date. Took the risk because I've been wanting to try Brazilian cerveja artesanal.

I get a big, foamy head on the pour that resembles soap bubbles at the sides, and a cloud at the top. Lace is plentiful. The body is copper and slightly cloudy.

There's a big grapefruit aroma on the nose, but it does smell slightly oxidized. Citrus prevails here and not much else.

Quite a loop I'm thrown for on the taste. The cane sugar offers an instantly noticeable and distinct, earthy sweetness that completely defies my sense's expectations. The big whiff of citrus I get as the glass approaches my nose takes a back seat. There's still some grapefruit-like hops, but they are taking a bit of a backseat on the flavor. I get some caramelized sugar and some caramel.

There's still plenty of bitterness to this IIPA, but it is tempered by the sugar. It's pretty unique, as I can't think of another beer like this. The body is medium but still drinkable and there's a long, bitter finish.

I call this a well-made beer with a unique twist that I'm always searching for in a beer, particularly an IPA. I'd drink this more often if it were available.

Large three-finger head that settles into a tight foam dome. Some streaky ring lace after every sip. The liquid is orange-amber with a mild chill haze.

Darker pale ale malt aroma. There's some alcohol to the nose as well. Low floral hop nose.

This is a surprisingly smooth IPA. This leans to the malt for the style. There's plenty alcohol warmth. The hop is spicy but not biting--this beer could stand to have a little bit more hop in it. Full bodied with a lower carbonation level.

I am surprised this is from Brazil as this is a very good DIPA.
